LOCAL INDEPENDENT FILM COMPANY
PREMIERES FIRST FEATURE
LEXINGTON, KY -- Revival House Entertainment, a local independent
film company, will premiere its first feature film, Flying Changes,
at the Kentucky Theatre in Lexington Monday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Brady Nasfell, 28, of Wilmore, produced and directed the film, which
was written by his wife, Andrea, 25. It was filmed entirely in Fayette
and Jessamine counties during the summer of 1997. Locations included
the Kentucky Horse Park, Thoroughbred Park, Asbury College, and
local houses and horse farms. The film is represented by Praxis
Entertainment, which is currently pursuing distribution options
in international television, cable and direct-to-video markets.
The cast includes Julie Hudson, Melissa Kelley, Laurie Warnecke,
Joe Gatton, Damon Boggess and Kenny McKinney. While local at the
time of filming, several of the actors have moved to Los Angeles,
Atlanta and New York to pursue acting careers.
Flying Changes is the story of a riding instructor, Marilyn Mitchell
(Kelley), who re-enters the life of the daughter (Hudson) she gave
up for adoption 20 years earlier. Marilyn tries to keep the girl's
real identity a secret from her husband (Gatton) and second daughter
(Warnecke), but when they uncover the truth, the family is faced
with the challenge of forgiveness and reconciliation.
The premiere is sponsored by Images Model & Talent Agency (which
represented many of the cast members and extras) as well as Citizens
National Bank of Jessamine County.
